On entering an unused classroom of the PIMVILLE Primary School, SOWETO where we'd been allowed to lay out bags of food, clothing and mealie meal for dispensing to brave old and young heads of families was a humbling experience. Their quiet solicitude following our shared words of encouragement, was remarkable to see the gracious means of quietly getting up and moving the heavy bags - in a wheelbarrow and on the heads of siblings with the knowledge that they will walk many miles to reach their humble destinations of ragged dwellings which accommodate entire families.

It is indeed a sobering experience and opens many arenas of need - from libraries for studying, to love and maternal wisdom which is so desperately needed to break the cycle!
